When people ask…I say, “I’ve been in real estate all my life: My mother sold real estate for as long as I can remember and opened Brantley Properties in 1987. Both my parents were real estate investors while I was growing up. I took my real estate course when I was 17 but had to wait until my 18^th birthday to take my state license. SO… one week after my 18^th birthday I was “officially” a licensed real estate agent. I became a broker 2 years later once I met the necessary qualifications. That was 25 years ago. AND AS THEY SAY….”the rest is history”.

 

I have lived in Lake Placid most of my life. I graduated from Lake Placid High School and attended South Florida Community College. I am married to my husband Steve Davis, a lifelong resident of Lake Placid. I have three children Austin (18), Sydney (16) and Evan (11).

 

Now I am the broker /owner of Brantley Properties, Inc. ( www.brantleyproperties.net ) and manage Lakeshore Resort on Lake Placid ( www.lakeshoreresortrentals.com ) . I am a member of the Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce and serve on the board of directors. I am a former member of the Lake Placid Town Council and also a member of the county, state and national association of Realtors, Lake Placid Athletic Assn., Lake Placid Jaycees, First Baptist Church of Lake Placid and a supporter of Lake Placid Youth Baseball.

 

I enjoy many things… some of my interest includes: the sun, lakes, healthy living, cooking, fitness, tennis, travel, dancing, wine, socializing with my friends, recycling, chocolate and blogging.

 

Besides the two biggies, family and real estate, I am PASSIONATE about Lake Placid. That is why I started a blog “WHY I LOVE LAKE PLACID”. There are so many reasons I love it here and I think you will too.  From our 27 fresh water lakes, parks, schools, festivals, beautiful downtown, quaint shops, restaurants, agriculture, 60+ murals, etc… I could go on and on!
